When a greyhound is abandoned by its owners, who should not be considered galgueros, in most cases has a fatal end. Are hit, starved, or end up in municipal kennels in many cases, do not have sufficient financial resources to take care of the animals. Dogs are crammed into spaces too small or are not fed, so they have a slow and cruel death. This is the case of the kennels in the towns of Martos, Jaén, and Puerto Real, Cadiz. There are many forms of abuse, but the suffering of animals who come to these facilities is the worst. What's worse is that these facilities are managed by municipalities and funded by public money.
